 Hits Not Welcome Here

Brady Winn (left) threw a complete game no-hitter in a nail bitter as the American League 11-12s beat Somers 2-1 in Little League All-Star pool play action Tuesday night at Bagshaw Field. Not to be outdone, Easton Masse (right) spun a perfect game, striking out 16 of the 18 batters he faced to lead the National Leaguers to a 6-0 victory over Windsor at Dettore Field.
The Nats go into Friday's game vs. Tolland (at Dettore) with a 3-0 record while the Americans take a 1-2 record in their Friday night game at Windsor.
Both teams will complete pool play on Sunday (Nationals at Somers, Americans at Dettore vs. Suffield) with hopes of moving on to the District 8 sectional tournament beginning on July 15.
