The Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, begins this year on Saturday, but students at Illing Middle School celebrated today, making dumplings and rice in Ms. Liu's class. (We have more pics down below.) By the way, adding to Year of the Rat excitement: acrobat Li Lui will be at Mary Cheney Library on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. with a special program for children.
